Last week, Richard attended the National Autistic Society's 'A Constant Fight' event at Portcullis House in Parliament.
Commenting, Richard Fuller MP said:
It was a deeply impactful session where I had the chance to hear from Marie Tidball MP, who spoke powerfully about the pressing need for better support for those with autism and their families.
The event highlighted the findings of the National Autistic Society’s latest report, A Constant Fight: The Reality of Autistic People's Struggle for Support Across Health and Social Care, Education, Employment and Mental Health. The stories shared painted a clear picture of the challenges faced by so many in accessing the support they need.
My thanks to the National Autistic Society for their tireless work and for hosting such an important event. If you’d like to learn more about the report or how you can support this vital cause, I encourage you to visit the National Autistic Society’s website: https://www.autism.org.uk/
