Late last year Richard was contacted by constituents from the farming community alarmed at the levels of crime they were experiencing in their rural communities, which prompted him to organise a meeting for residents with the Police.
Richard Fuller MP said:
I reached out to the Beds Rural Crime Action Team - RCAT and John Tizard - Bedfordshire PCC and am pleased that they agreed to join with me in holding a meeting for residents on January 24th at 9am at Old Warden Village Hall.
At this meeting we want to hear about the incidences of crime suffered by the rural community, assess the effectiveness of current measures designed to combat such crime, and discuss additional options that could be explored going forward.
If you have experienced crime or have witnessed an increasing incidence in your neighbourhood then please come along on January 24th to participate in the conversation. If you can't make this meeting but have views or experiences on the subject that you'd like to share, please email me at Richard.fuller.mp@parliament.uk
