This week Anglian Water have produced their first, near real time map, showing indicative storm spills. Updated hourly, it will give customers a way to see how the network is operating.
Richard Fuller MP said:
Anglian Water are trying to improve transparency around their storm overflow performance as part of their 'Get River Positive' commitment. If approved by Ofwat, Anglian Water's business plan from 2025 proposes almost £1 billion into directly tackling storm spills.
This appears a useful tool and will provide updates to the public on indicative storm spills pretty much in real time.
