Richard recently visited the Job Centre in Biggleswade where he was welcomed by Beds & Herts District Operations Manager, Stuart Brown and his team.
Speaking from the Job Centre in Biggleswade High Street, Richard said:
"The DWP staff have gone to tremendous efforts helping people during the lockdown and afterwards. We discussed recent changes in employment and the importance for firms to engage with the DWP to learn about new employment support measures.
"We also had a positive discussion about the new Kickstart programme that helps young people on Universal Credit get on the first step of their career ladder by the government covering the equivalent of the relevant National Minimum Wage for 25hours a week for six months."
