This week, Richard visited local cider makers, Saxby's Ciders in Farndish.
Speaking after the visit, Richard Fuller MP said:
North East Bedfordshire is home to many successful and inspiring businesses and Saxby's Cider in the north of my constituency is no exception.
Phil and Amanda have built a tremendous venture at the heart of their community, not just with their portfolio of fabulous ciders but also with the range of events that they run in their rural environment and in the recently renovated function room. For those who enjoy cider and live music there is a Harvest Moon Party this Saturday evening (August 20th) featuring Neil Young and Johnny Cash tribute musicians.
The Saxby family tradition of pig farming is behind the iconic company branding and all of the fermenting towers are named after famous pigs!
A really interesting visit and great to see a local, homegrown business doing so well.
