Last week, Richard Fuller MP spoke to the Year 12s at Sharnbrook Academy as part of their Virtual Destinations Fortnight programme.
The programme entails a series of presentations from employers, alumni, apprenticeship providers, universities and careers specialists about opportunities available to them when they leave school. Richard spoke the group about a career in politics, covering the typical day in the life of an MP, how Parliament work and an MP's participation in shaping legislation, including select committees.
Speaking after the event, Richard said:
I thoroughly enjoyed the session and would like to thank all of the pupils and staff for their interest and engagement.
