Earlier this week, Richard visited Potton Middle School to discuss the upcoming COP26 conference and listen to the children's thoughts on what we can all be doing to be greener.
After the visit, Richard Fuller, MP for North East Bedfordshire, said:
Many thanks for the warm welcome from staff and pupils at Potton Middle School this morning.
We had an assembly discussion on COP26 and Climate Change and I was deluged with great ideas from the pupils about ways that all of us can be 'greener' and reduce emissions and pollution in our environment.
It should be noted that a democratic vote on whether video games should be banned as a way of saving electricity was resoundingly defeated!
Richard will be visiting a number of schools in the constituency in the run up to COP26 to hear how everyone is doing their bit in their communities to help fight climate change.
