Richard attended the opening of a new suite at Bedford Hospital's A&E department, which houses a new CT scanner and other image processing equipment has thanks to Bedford Hospital Charity and Friends’ (BHC&F) £1m for Bedford A&E appeal.
The Clifton Ibbett Suite was officially opened last month and is used by patients being treated in A&E, helping to diagnose injuries and illnesses far more quickly.

Bedford Hospital has a new CT scanner unit in its Emergency Department thanks to the generosity of Bedfordshire Charitable Trust and the hard work of the volunteer fundraisers of the Bedford Hospital Charity, led by Chair, Debbie Inksip.
