Licensing laws are being relaxed temporarily to allow pubs to stay open later for Sunday's Euro 2020 final. Premises will be able to stay open for an extra 45 minutes until 11.15pm in case the game goes to extra time and penalties.
Richard Fuller, Member of Parliament for North East Bedfordshire said:
Congratulations to England on a thrilling, although at times nail-biting victory on Wednesday night.
For the final against Italy on Sunday evening, I am delighted the government has announced a one-off extension for pubs until 11.15pm so fans can stay and watch in case the game goes to extra time or penalties. I wish the England team the very best of luck.
