East of England Ambulance Service are inviting children across the region to create part of the design for their new Skoda training vehicles.
Skoda Karoqs are used to train paramedics for driving Rapid Response Vehicles so that they can get to the scene of accidents and other emergencies fast while our ambulances are on their way.
East of England Ambulance Service are asking children to let their imaginations go wild and design an image to put on the rear quarter-light windows.
There are eight vehicles in all and they are inviting children to compete in two age categories.
- Up to 10 years old
- 10-16 years old
The winner in each category will see their artwork on our vehicles along with their name.
How to take part
Children are invited to design an image that best expresses what they think the ambulance service does, and what patients would like to see when they arrive.
Work must be their own and cannot be created by copying other people’s pictures or using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools.
Entries from schools are welcome. Children taking part in the competition must have parental/guardian consent to have their name and age used in any following publicity.
All entries must be received by Friday February 28.
Full details of how to enter the competition, including a downloadable template of the size and shape of the quarter-light can be found on the EEAST website:
